Traffic Generation

There are a huge number of ways to get traffic (visitors) to your site to subscribe to your newsletter or to view your offers but the only ones I’m going to discuss here are the best free or low cost ones because they have less financial risk to you. Be aware though that all free methods do have a cost, and that cost is the time you will have to devote to using them.

With any type of traffic generation you first have to consider who it is you want to attract. It’s not the numbers of visitors you have, it’s the number of potential buyers you attract – your targeted audience – that makes the difference.

You need to find out where your potential buyers hang out, and then the best way to attract them to join you, or to buy your products.

If, as you should be <grin>, you’re going to be offering the 12SC Professional Marketing Suite to others, your targeted buyer will be people just like you when you first started online – relatively new to marketing and in need of all the essential marketing tools eveyone must have to succeed online, and the methods I cover here will be the best ones to attract these people.

So, where will you find these people? In a nutshell, most of them they will be using safelists and traffic exchanges to get their offers in front of others therefore that’s where you need to be too. Although these is a learning curve to getting superb results these are a very effective, albeit somewhat time consuming, method  of promotion.

I had been marketing on line reasonably effectively for several months bouncing from program to program but it was only when I stopped promoting programs all over the place and started marketing myself first and only one or two carefully selected programs I started to have real success.

I used the Affiliate Funnel to do this and have continued to use it right up to this day. It was created originally to fill a void that was out there for a free to low cost entry point for people to start building a relationship with others, develop large amounts of traffic and to have one point to promote any program or product.

While there are other similar programs but usually there is an underlying program that the owner is promoting. That isn’t a bad thing either if that program is part of what you promote. For example if the program it was created to promote was GDI and you promote GDI that is a good fit. But if they are promoting 4 or 5 other programs in the downline builder and GDI is the only one the you promote it sends the people that you bring in to other people’s downlines.

You have two choices then 1)  to lose part of your referrals in those programs or 2) to join a program that you were not interested in and hope that it will work for you. In the Affiliate Funnel only the traffic generating and tools are fixed. The moneymaking programs or services are decided by the member.
Every member can add one of their programs to the 6 that their referrals are exposed to and if you upgrade to Gold member you can add all 6 so your referrals will only see your programs.

This allows you to use Affiliate Funnel as a place you can focus your promotion on because a free front end always generates more people easily and everyone gets exposed to your programs that they may be interested in. Will everyone you sponsor join everything? Absolutely not but just think that each person has the chance to join under you in 25 traffic exchanges, 6 safelists, a few tools and any program you’ve added to your program page. Even if they only join three or four of these programs you have leveraged your effort.

I’ve found that the key to being successful for me, and a lot of others I know, is to create a marketing funnel and to keep filling the top of it. Affiliate Funnel was created to allow even brand new marketers a way to build their list and start to build a relationship with people, and it does a very good job of it.

The only downsides of the Affiliate Funnel I’ve found is that it takes a little study and time to get set up, and you will get bombarded with suggested affiliate programs for you to join once you get inside. Don’t get distracted – stick to the one, maybe two, programs you have chosen to promote.
