Today I want the share with you a simple technique that changed my life in so many ways and which, if you choose to use it, will take all the limits off your ability to grow and profit from your online business.
Let me say that again. “Will take ALL THE LIMITS off”
Are you holding yourself back? Do you often ‘nearly succeed’ only to fall just before the finish line? Have you ever made a decision, or set a goal, only to see yourself slip, little bit by little bit, away from taking the actions you know you have to take to succeed? Have you ever made excuses for yourself, saying things like “It would have been good but I couldn’t do it because ………..”
Have you ever wondered why you set out with such good intentions, determined to succeed, only to find you’ve missed the mark once again?
Here’s my good news. It doesn’t have to be that way any more! If you take on board this simple technique and put it into practice for a few minutes each day ANYTHING you desire can be yours.
For those of you who haven’t run across my story, here’s the short version.

Now that’s all very well, but it doesn’t say exactly what I did to turn a life of modest achievement around and to build an unstoppable self worth, self esteem and self confidence, so let me rectify that now.
What made all the difference?
I discovered I could reprogram my self destructive thoughts. I learned how to control my mind.
Initially I was skeptical that this could work, it all seemed a bit mystical to me, but I decided to try it to get my weight under control, something I had tried to do time and time again only to find that, long term, I ended up back right were I started or worse.
I set the goal to reduce my weight from 118 KG to 96KG by 8 June 2005 when I was due to come out from my contract in the highlands of Papaua New Guinea and meet my wife for a holiday break together in Surfers Paradise, Australia. That’s a reduction of 22KG (about 50 pounds) over a period of 12 weeks, way above anything I had managed to achieve before.
Now stick with me here – I did it by reprogramming what I said when I talked to myself. I reprogrammed those thousands of thoughts that go through our minds each and every day, my self talk.
And slowly the skepticism started to fall away as the little voice inside that kept telling me things like ‘Come on Allan, you’ve never managed to get your weight off and keep it off before’ started to go silent and my ACTIONS started to change!
I started exercising daily, and my diet, almost without my knowing it, started to change.
During the 12 weeks I deliberately didn’t weigh myself.
And the result was?
On 8 June I stepped on a scale outside a pharmacy in ‘Surfers’ and, before dropping my dollar into it, asked my wife to tell me what it read.
96KG — and I immediately become a believer!
And my weight has remained off right up until today – because my thoughts and my actions have been changed permanently.
I’ve since used the self talk techniques in several areas of my business and personal life with great success and recommend it to you as one of the most powerful success methods you will ever come across.
